Finalmente solo, finalmente tutti, 2013
Two Morse lamps, two tripods, two electromagnets, one electronic control unit, electric cables
Site specific dimensions

Two Morse lamps communicate with each other in turns from a distance and count. One answers the other until the number progression, which follows the Fibonacci sequence, goes over eleven billion. The words “spoken” by the Morse lamps resume and extend this text written by Mario Merz:

What to do?
Finally alone
or only of course romanticism.
Finally two
Finally three
Finally five
Finally eight
Finally thirteen
